The humble Phone Box has been cast as a portal of transformational power in popular culture ever since it landed on our streets. An almost invisible piece of street architecture, every Phone Box holds within it a static charge of countless conversations bringing good, bad and ordinary news from afar. 

Beginning with a series of abstract multilingual word prompts from Lada Wilson, Jonathan Gould (@underthesilverbirch) and Mark McCulloch (@m.4.2.o) have explored the liminal space where words and meaning become divorced, floating without context through space and time.
